In late February 1999, I started a project for chunk.com called "Flower and Willow". It was an experiment. I wanted to create a tight, compact chronicle of how love and lust have figured into my life. They have bought me both great happiness and great sadness. Sometimes, they consume my every thought and at other times, it was the farthest thing from my mind. You can say, I have a love-hate relationship with love & lust.

The entire project from inception to conclusion took about 50 hours, crammed into two tiny weeks.

I presented my project to a group of fellow online journallers and a small group became extremely interested in the project. Thus, I launched Flower & Willow as a tiny group where we could begin exploring and creating individual chronicles. With the input of each other, we hope to refine our projects in terms of both our writing and our visual presentation.

This space is dedicated to the group as a historical record of our creative process. The Flower and Willow project launched on March 1st, 1999. We hope to conclude sometime in late summer 1999.
