Vol. 5: Freedom...

Question
----------

I've been put in charge of my company's holiday chorus. We're not going to win any awards, but we've found we all really enjoy singing, even if we're not particularly good at it. It's been a while since I sang last (I stopped singing with my a cappella group after Spring 97) and it felt wonderful. I've almost forgotten how great it is to sing, to express myself in that way. I've started really listening and singing to my a cappella CDs again.

It felt like freedom. Beautiful. Exquisite. Simple. Singing again was finding joy again. One of those perfect joys.

What is something that you enjoyed and put away... and then picked it up later and felt like you've been set free again?
